10thYZU Computer Camp
10thYZU Computer Camp was held from 7th July to 31 July 2017 in CDC center Dhading, Nepal. The class was formally initiated on 10th July 2017. The classes were divided into two; basics and advance. Students and computer teachers were the participants. The total no of the students for advance level from Pashupati Secondary School was 14. Similarly there were 3 students from Manarupi Secondary School,5 students from Sankosh Secondary School and 6 students from Panchakanya Secondary School respectively. Computer teachers from all schools also attended at the computer training camp. The classes were run in 2 shifts; morning and in the evening.
Basic level training was also conducted in 2 shifts; morning and in the evening. There were altogether 62 students in basic class from different different schools such as 1 student from Sankosh Secondary School, 31 students from Panchakanya Secondary School, 30 students.
The computer camp’s closing ceremony was on 31st July 2017. Mr. Ramesh Dhamala was the chief guest and the president Rakesh Dhamala handed over the computer to three schools. EPF organized the closing ceremony in CDC center. Balmandir Founder chairperson of EPF-Nepal as chief guest, Mr. Dhamala gave a short speech for this computer camp and how to utilize computer and team leader of international volunteers gave opinion for camp outcomes and thanks for all team. Our donors gave laptops to Schools and CDC at the program. We are heartily thanks to YZU international volunteers & ASUS Company.
From this program we have achieved our targets. All of participants learned very actively and sincerely so we accomplished our target. From this computer camp, students gain much more knowledge about computer. It's mostly useful for them for their future life. We wish this program will continue and enlarge the scale of participants.
